Financial Services Ireland/City of London dialogue

The current bilateral dialogue between financial services practitioners in Dublin and London was established in February 2016.  It is chaired by Susan Dargan (State Street) and Joanna Cound ( BlackRock) London.

Since the UK referendum on EU membership the dialogue has taken on an increased significance given the strong linkages between both centres and the similarity of approach to the development of market oriented policies for financial services. The dialogue is also considering the implications of Brexit for the Irish and UK financial services sectors.
The group alternates its plenary meetings between London and Dublin, approximately twice per year. The secretariat is provided by Financial Services Ireland and the City of London
